About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules and procedural manuals.
• Resourceful self-starter, works well independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in the use of computers and handheld technology.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe workplace behaviors are taught and emphasized at all times.
• Assist in establishing team pride in maintaining orderliness and facility housekeeping.
• Provide hands-on direction to colleagues for the operation of the fulfillment center.
• Train, cross-train, and certify colleagues in all operational areas as requested.
• Recognize training deficiencies and work with the manager to retrain or address issues.
• Assist in the development of hourly colleagues and stimulate growth of high-performing team members.
• Provide guidance to daily operations activities to ensure coordination and cooperation between different areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace and ensure personal safety of all colleagues.
• Practice open and continuous communication and conduct daily team meetings.
• Recognize and celebrate individual and team performance with positive reinforcement.
• Ensure colleagues are working towards continuous improvement goals and objectives.
