About the position

The Seasonal Merchandiser role is a part-time, temporary position focused on enhancing the shopping experience through the presentation of floral arrangements. The position involves unpacking, preparing, and maintaining the freshness of flowers, while also ensuring display areas are clean and organized. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about flowers and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Unpack and prepare various flowers for the sales floor, ensuring they are ready and appealing.
• Maintain the freshness of flowers by regularly changing the water in display buckets.
• Keep the display areas clean and organized, including sweeping and mopping as needed.
• Efficiently manage product inventory by breaking down pallets and moving stock to the sales floor using rolling racks.
• Remove trash and clear out back-stock areas to optimize space for new deliveries.
• Set up and replenish large display vases on flatbeds with appropriate signage for customer engagement.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Capable of committing to the full duration of the seasonal assignment.
• Physically able to push, pull, and lift items weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Comfortable with bending, stooping, and lifting products above shoulder height.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.
• Reliable transportation is necessary to travel between multiple store locations.
• Team player with the ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
