The Seasonal Natural Resources Worker at Hardy Lake is responsible for providing customer service and educational experiences to visitors while maintaining the natural resources of the park. This role involves various tasks such as educating the public about the park's features, assisting with nature center programming, and managing invasive species. The position is seasonal and may require working during weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and education to visitors about park features.
• Assist with nature center programming and care for animals.
• Educate the public on the natural history of caves as a tour guide.
• Assist with the control of invasive plant species and natural area restoration.
• Maintain boats, equipment, and registration shed for tours.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or one year of work experience.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Ability to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in various environments including field and office settings.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with DOC work release crews.
• Knowledge of local flora and fauna.
