About the position
As a Seasonal Night Shift Warehouse Associate at Neiman Marcus, you will play a crucial role in processing merchandise in accordance with the high standards set by the company. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are capable of working collaboratively within a team. You will be assigned to a specific department, which may include Packing, Picking, Stocking, Receiving, or Shipping, and you will have the opportunity to cross-train in various areas to enhance your skills and versatility within the warehouse. The night shift hours are from Tuesday to Friday, 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM, allowing you to focus on your responsibilities during these hours while contributing to the overall efficiency of the warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing warehouse systems effectively, including RF scanners and user interfaces, to ensure accurate processing of merchandise. Attention to detail is paramount, as you will need to verify accuracy according to standard operating procedures (SOP) and communicate any discrepancies to your supervisor or team leads. Flexibility is key, as you may be required to adapt to different job assignments as directed by management. You will also need to maintain a focus on tasks to meet the expected level of service for our customers, all while adhering to Neiman Marcus's safety standards. The position requires physical stamina, as you will be standing and walking for up to 12 hours during your shift, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You will also need to navigate stairs, depending on your assigned work area.
