About the position

The Seasonal Operations Coordinator at UPS is responsible for supervising, training, and developing workgroups to ensure safety, productivity, and attendance. This role emphasizes maintaining high standards for account productivity, accuracy, customer service, and safety while fostering a positive team-oriented work environment. The coordinator will also cultivate functional working relationships across all levels of personnel within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train Package Handlers and Clerks on safety, productivity, and job-related tasks.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitate training for new and current employees.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Manage department resources for maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establish a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement and communication.
• Implement personal development plans for department personnel.
• Conduct evaluations and provide coaching to support employee development.
• Coordinate daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure timely completion of assigned duties.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent (Preferred).
• Management experience (Preferred).
