About the position

The Seasonal Operations Coordinator at UPS is responsible for supervising, training, and developing workgroups to ensure safety, productivity, and attendance. This role emphasizes maintaining high standards for account productivity, accuracy, customer service, and safety while fostering a positive team-oriented work environment. The coordinator will also cultivate relationships across all levels of personnel and implement employee development plans to support ongoing professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises, trains, and develops workgroups responsible for safety, production, and attendance.
  • Facilitates training for new and current employees.
  • Ensures adherence to safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Manages department resources for maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement and communication.
  • Implements personal development plans for department personnel.
  • Conducts evaluations and provides coaching to support employee development.
  • Coordinates daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure timely completion of duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent (Preferred)
  • Management experience (Preferred)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
  • Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
