About the position

The Seasonal Part Time Retail Supervisor at The Lodge at St. Edward Park is responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience through effective retail management and customer service. This role involves overseeing daily operations, maintaining store organization, and assisting with inventory management while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a warm and professional attitude to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Knowledge of opening, closing, and daily operational procedures.
• Participate in retail merchandise procurement and concepting of new retail offerings.
• Balance registers and ensure accuracy of closing procedures.
• Manage inventory received and back stock; upkeep of all floor merchandising and displays.
• Assist with receiving, tagging, and transporting new merchandise.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of all guest and non-guest facing areas.
• Communicate with team members and Rooms Management on special requests and orders.
• Understand shipping procedures for store merchandise and interdepartmental transfers.
• Anticipate guest needs and use positive suggestive selling techniques.
• Assist in training new employees.
• Participate in counting inventory.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail environment strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate.
• Basic math skills required for accurate currency handling.
