About the position

The Seasonal Part Time Sales Associate is responsible for maximizing sales potential through exceptional customer service, maintaining store appearance, and ensuring merchandise is adequately stocked. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team to achieve store goals while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales volume through high customer service standards.
• Maintain visual presentation standards consistent with USPA philosophy.
• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Develop proficiency in all operational policies and procedures.
• Manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ensure customer service is the number one priority.
• Implement the S.P.O.R.T. customer service program daily.
• Follow all customer service expectations outlined in the Service Audit Personnel.
• Demonstrate a professional image and conduct in accordance with USPA dress code policy.
• Work collaboratively as a team member to accomplish store goals.
• Communicate concerns to management as needed.
• Support all company and management decisions.
• Follow expectations outlined in the Loss Prevention program.
• Maintain productivity in non-selling tasks such as shipment processing and price changes.
• Replenish merchandise on a timely basis and maintain store appearance to reflect USPA standards.

Requirements

• Experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining visual presentation standards.

Nice-to-haves

• Supervising experience is a plus.
