About the position

The Seasonal Retail Cashier & Sales Floor Support position at Nordstrom Rack involves providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. The role focuses on enhancing the customer experience by assisting with fitting rooms, managing inventory, and maintaining an organized sales floor. Team members are expected to share their passion for fashion and promote store events and programs.

Responsibilities

• Keep the customer experience quick, easy, and fun while helping customers uncover great deals.
• Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and taking them to their fitting rooms, then sorting and returning clothing to the floor.
• Share knowledge about fashion and inform customers about upcoming events, gift cards, and the Nordstrom Rewards program.
• Organize stockrooms and complete all inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
• Work with the team to ensure the sales floor remains organized and visually appealing through re-merchandising and straightening.
