About the position

The Seasonal Retail Associate at Billabong is responsible for engaging with customers, driving sales, and representing the brand through knowledge of products and the action sports industry. This role involves maintaining store appearance, completing transactions, and contributing to a positive work environment while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Actively help and engage with customers' needs
• Drive sales and build relationships with customers
• Represent brand with actions and knowledge of products
• Connect and build relationships with customers through passion for brand and action sports
• Complete customer transactions in a timely and accurate manner
• Inform customers of current sales and promotions
• Merchandise men's, women's, and kid's clothing and accessories
• Maintain floor appearance by receiving, checking, and shelving merchandise
• Maintain store cleanliness by keeping areas organized and uncluttered
• Collaborate with your team to complete assigned tasks
• Contribute to a fun, organized, and efficient environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Availability to work through early January
• Flexible schedule and able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Previous retail/sales experience preferred
• Familiarity with the brand and action sports industry
• Interpersonal, customer service, and basic math skills
• Be an effective team player
• Strong ethical behavior
