About the position

The Seasonal Retail At Your Service Associate at Macy's is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service during various in-store activities, including Buy Online Pickup in Store transactions and processing returns. This role requires flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet and connect with customers in a friendly manner.
• Recommend products by identifying customer needs and inspiring purchases.
• Offer options and solutions to customers to complete sales.
• Wrap up the shopping experience by celebrating customer purchases.
• Assist customers with the total store experience, including online order pickups.
• Monitor alerts for timely completion of Buy Online Pickup In-Store orders.
• Demonstrate knowledge of store products to drive sales and minimize returns.
• Sell gift cards and resolve customer issues with Macy's cards.
• Follow store audit policies and procedures.
• Adhere to asset protection and inventory control procedures.

Requirements

• Good understanding of products to provide expert guidance to customers.
• Comfortable communicating with customers virtually, via phone, and in person.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and achieve sales goals.
• Utilize point of sale technology and applications effectively.
• Self-driven to keep up with product knowledge and trends.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues.
• Ability to collaborate with the team to drive sales and enhance customer experience.
