About the position

The Seasonal Retail Fragrances Sales Associate at Macy's is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in the Fragrance department during the holiday season. This role involves greeting customers, assisting with transactions, and suggesting fragrances to enhance the shopping experience. The associate will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring flexibility in scheduling and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with warmth and enthusiasm in the Fragrance department.
• Explain and demonstrate the use of fragrances through actual application.
• Ensure proper presentation, organization, storing, and replenishment of stock.
• Merchandise new receipts, process damages, testers, and select merchandise to return to vendors.
• Be proficient in Macy's point of sale systems and company devices to promote our loyalty program and wrap up sales in a warm celebratory fashion.
• Adhere to hygiene standards, asset protection controls, and compliance procedures.

Requirements

• No Education or Experience Required.
• Must be able to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors in English.
• Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
