About the position
As a Seasonal Retail Sales Associate at Athleta, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while promoting the brand's commitment to empowering women and girls. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers, provide excellent service, and drive sales through product knowledge and loyalty program education. This position requires collaboration with the leadership team to ensure a best-in-class shopping experience using an omni-channel approach.
Responsibilities
- Consistently treat all customers and employees with respect and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Promote loyalty by educating customers about our loyalty programs.
- Seek out and engage with customers to drive sales and service using suggestive selling.
- Enhance customer experience using all omnichannel offerings.
- Be accountable to personal goals which contribute to overall store goals and results.
- Support sales floor, fitting room, cash wrap, back of house, as required.
- Maintain a neat, clean and organized work center.
- Handle all customer interactions and potential issues/returns courteously and professionally.
- Execute operational processes effectively and efficiently.
Requirements
- Experience in retail sales or customer service.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.
- Problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.
