About the position
The Logistics Processor at Nordstrom plays a crucial role in ensuring that merchandise is received, processed, and delivered efficiently to enhance customer satisfaction. This position requires a motivated individual who can work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and organization.
Responsibilities
- Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards
- Prepare and ship customer's orders following quality, packing and shipping standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Provide general support to the store, including setting up special events, organizing backroom, markdowns, and relocating store fixtures
Requirements
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in using a variety of technology and new computer applications
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
