About the position

The Seasonal Sales Associate at Five Below is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their needs, and promoting store events and promotions. This role requires a flexible schedule and the ability to engage with customers effectively while supporting team and company goals in a dynamic retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly, providing assistance and handling multiple customers efficiently.
• Assess customer needs by sharing product knowledge, answering questions, directing them to merchandise, and offering recommendations.
• Inform customers about current store events, promotions, and special activities to enhance their shopping experience and drive sales.
• Address customer issues and use product knowledge to offer alternative solutions, aiming to turn returns into exchanges when possible.
• Regularly inform management about merchandise restocking, service requirements, and any customer feedback in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve overall store and company objectives, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements

• At least 16 years old
• Available to work a flexible schedule
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (such as cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices)
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
• Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally
