About the position

The Seasonal Sales Associate at Men's Wearhouse is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience across various retail services, including sales, rentals, and custom clothing. This role emphasizes customer engagement, teamwork, and adherence to company standards to foster a positive work environment and achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate benchmark selling techniques for retail sales, custom clothing sales, and special occasion rentals.
• Encourage and participate in team selling.
• Build relationships with customers from greeting through post-sale contact.
• Monitor and positively impact store sales volume and metrics goals.
• Meet and maintain personal sales volume goals while ensuring quality of sale.
• Assist customers with alterations and fittings, using tailors when available.
• Receive shipments and maintain a clean, organized store.
• Participate in visual merchandising according to brand standards.
• Monitor security of company property and report any discrepancies.
• Conduct merchandise stock counts as requested by management.
• Collaborate with the store team to achieve established goals.
• Maintain a harassment-free workplace by adhering to company policies.

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the work shift.
• Frequent bending, squatting, and twisting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Climbing a ladder to reach merchandise or supplies.
• Ability to see and distinguish between fabric patterns and colors.
