About the position

The Seasonal Sales Associate at GameStop plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting store operations during peak sales periods. This position focuses on engaging with customers, assisting with their gaming needs, and maintaining a well-organized store environment. The associate will work under supervision to ensure a positive shopping experience and contribute to the store's sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by promptly greeting guests and assisting them with their video gaming needs.
• Support the overall shopping environment, including visual and operational aspects, and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise, ensuring products are well-presented and organized on the selling floor.
• Help the store team meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when necessary.
• Support effective inventory control and loss prevention practices.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance and ethical responsibilities.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual English/Spanish speaking and writing skills are preferred.
