The Seasonal Sales Associate at GameStop plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting store operations during peak sales periods. This position focuses on enhancing the shopping experience for customers by assisting with their gaming needs, maintaining store organization, and contributing to sales initiatives. The associate will work under supervision to ensure a clean and inviting store environment while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by promptly greeting guests and assisting them with their video gaming needs.
• Support the overall shopping environment, including visual and operational aspects, and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise, ensuring products are well-presented and organized on the selling floor.
• Help the store team meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when necessary.
• Support effective inventory control and loss prevention practices.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance and ethical responsibilities.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual English/Spanish speaking and writing skills are preferred.
