The Seasonal Sales Associate at Aeropostale is responsible for promoting the company's culture, values, and mission while providing an exceptional shopping experience for customers. This role is ideal for individuals who are outgoing, friendly, and passionate about fashion, as they will engage with customers, offer fashion advice, and help them build outfits that reflect their personal style.

Responsibilities

• Engage, educate, and befriend customers to create an amazing shopping experience.
• Achieve and exceed sales goals by utilizing the company's selling strategy.
• Show understanding of customers' personal style when offering fashion advice.
• Inspire customers with knowledge of fashion and trends to help them build perfect outfits.
• Assist with daily opening and closing tasks to maintain a clean and neat store.
• Complete all job responsibilities such as floor sets, filling the floor, and ringing customers as directed.
• Remain positive and professional while working with the team to create a great environment for customers and each other.
• Be a role model for the company's values of respect, integrity, teamwork, compassion, accountability, and inclusivity.

Requirements

• Outgoing personality with a love of fashion.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
• Flexible availability to meet the needs of the business, including evenings and weekends.
• Commitment to arrive for scheduled shifts on time and maintain consistent attendance.
• Able to meet the physical requirements of the job, including standing/walking up to 95% of the time, lifting or moving up to 25 pounds, and bending, twisting, and kneeling to complete tasks.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
