About the position

The Scheduling Coordinator at the National Football League (NFL) will play a crucial role in managing the scheduling of crew members for assigned shows. This position involves creating the Crew Compliment, which is a detailed list of crew members required for each production. The Scheduling Coordinator will collaborate closely with Staff Scheduling Coordinators to ensure that all productions are adequately staffed for upcoming days and weeks. This includes handling call outs, schedule changes, and crew notifications, ensuring that all changes are communicated effectively to both the show Production staff and Production management. In addition to scheduling, the Coordinator will be responsible for creating Work Orders in Media Pulse based on the Crew Compliment and following up with daily emails and requests to address any staffing needs. The role requires a proactive approach to contacting crews for their availability and assisting in compiling the crew schedules. The Coordinator will also be tasked with inputting schedules into the scheduling system and updating Work Orders as necessary, ensuring that all crew members are informed of any changes in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Create the Crew Compliment for the assigned show and present it for approval.
  • Create the Work Orders in Media Pulse from the Crew Compliment.
  • Ensure that all productions are properly staffed.
  • Follow-up with daily emails and requests to ensure that all needs have been addressed.
  • Work with Staff Scheduling Coordinators to contact crews for availability and assist in compiling the crew schedules.
  • Assist with the inputting of schedules into the scheduling system (Media Pulse).
  • Update Work Orders as needed for changes and notify crew of all changes.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a scheduling environment.
  • Experience with software systems such as Excel and Media Pulse.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Television Production experience a plus.
