About the position

The Seasonal Shipping Associate - Puller Trainee is responsible for efficiently pulling and packing customer orders in a warehouse environment. This role emphasizes meeting productivity and accuracy standards while ensuring a safe and clean workspace. The position is seasonal, lasting 90 days from the date of hire, and requires flexibility in working hours, including the potential for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Picks customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Checks packing list for accuracy and inspects items before packing.
• Drives an electric cart to pick orders from the warehouse.
• Meets or exceeds established productivity and accuracy standards.
• Inspects products for defects or damages before packing.
• Maintains a safe and clean warehouse environment.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations.
• Acts professionally and remains focused on tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English fluently.
• Must have reliable transportation to the workplace.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery safely.
• Comfortable using electronic devices for order processing.
• Can lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Basic math skills, including the ability to count, add, and subtract quickly and accurately.
• Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantities, labels, and SKU information.
• Must be flexible with start and departure times as needed.
• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.
