About the position

The Seasonal Stockroom Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the store's efficiency and success by providing excellent customer service and maintaining a well-organized stockroom. This position involves direct interaction with customers at the cash wrap, supporting product flow from receipt to sale, and ensuring the sales floor is replenished and visually appealing. The associate is expected to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of high retail traffic periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at the cash wrap with a smile and maintain eye contact.
• Interact genuinely with customers to determine their needs.
• Maintain accuracy when operating the POS system and ensure cash wrap organization.
• Receive shipments and notify management of new products.
• Scan cartons and verify store information is correct.
• Organize and clean the stockroom daily, including offsite warehouses.
• Replenish the sales floor and execute visual merchandising needs.
• Analyze sales floor to assess replenishment needs and react to sell-through.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding product features and availability.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of previous retail experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Knowledge of cash register systems and basic computer skills.
