About the position

In this role, you will deliver excellent customer service and consistent execution of store operations. You will efficiently process freight, replenishment, and omni channel operations. This position is essential in ensuring that the store runs smoothly and that customers receive the best possible service during their shopping experience. You will be responsible for receiving and processing product, which includes unloading truck shipments and executing stockroom operations and omni channel fulfillment. Additionally, you will replenish the sales floor as necessary based on sell-through and seasonal changes, ensuring that products are readily available for customers. Engaging with customers is a key part of this role. You will greet customers and offer assistance with products and services, creating a welcoming environment. You will also execute all product protection standards to ensure the safety and security of merchandise. As part of your responsibilities, you will participate in the training process for new hires, sharing knowledge about Kohl's brand standards, product knowledge, inventory procedures, productivity standards, tools, and resources as directed by store leadership. All associate roles at Kohl's are responsible for acting with integrity and honesty while fostering teamwork in an engaged and inclusive culture. You will need to exercise good judgment and discernment when making decisions, taking appropriate partners as needed. Demonstrating a customer service mindset is crucial, as you will anticipate customer needs and satisfactorily resolve issues. Supporting point of sale and customer service departments to deliver speed of service transactions while creating a compelling customer experience is also part of your duties. You will be expected to meet or exceed individual goals, accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes, and follow company policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines. Maintaining adherence to company safety policies for the safety of all associates and customers is paramount. You will receive, understand, and proactively respond to direction from supervisors/managers and other company personnel, along with other responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process product, including unloading truck shipments and executing stockroom operations and omni channel fulfillment.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
  • Verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • No retail experience required.
  • Must be 16 years of age or older.
  • Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
