The Seasonal Task Associate (STA) at Ulta Beauty plays a crucial role in delivering operational excellence that supports sales drivers, which are essential for providing an exceptional experience for all guests. This position is centered around maintaining store standards, ensuring merchandise is stocked, and completing assigned tasks efficiently. The STA is expected to contribute to the store's retail goals by executing tasks as planned, ensuring product availability, and maintaining compliance with operational processes. This includes managing shipment and replenishment processes, conducting merchandise resets, and adhering to inventory procedures. Attention to detail and the ability to follow established processes and procedures are vital for success in this role. In addition to operational responsibilities, the STA is a champion of Ulta Beauty's mission, vision, and values. They are expected to foster an inclusive environment that supports both teammates and guests. Regular participation in ongoing training is encouraged to enhance brand knowledge and drive sales performance. The STA must maintain outstanding store cleanliness and ensure that all areas, including the sales floor, restrooms, and break areas, are well-kept and organized. The Seasonal Task Associate must be flexible in their scheduling, as the role requires availability for early morning shifts, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays. Continuous mobility throughout the store is necessary, along with frequent standing, bending, and lifting of merchandise up to 25 lbs. Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store's retail goals by ensuring all tasks are executed as planned and product is available for purchase.
• Meet compliance and execution goals related to task dashboard and ensure the timely completion of all operational processes, including the shipment and replenishment processes, merchandise sets, and inventory counts and procedures.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Contribute to an inclusive environment that supports teammates, peers, and the internal and external guests served.
• Regularly participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education, to enable continuous professional development and drive sales performance.
• Be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty's policies, procedures, and standards.
• Adhere to Ulta Beauty's dress code.
• Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and processing shipment using Ulta Beauty's technology and best practices.
• Drive operational excellence by keeping assigned work area replenished, signed, and faced, and ensuring testers are available.
• Maintain outstanding store standards and overall store cleanliness including salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
• Execute other operational tasks as directed.

Requirements

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to problem solve.
