About the position

The Seasonal Task Associate (STA) at Ulta Beauty is responsible for operational excellence that supports sales drivers, ensuring an exceptional experience for guests. This role involves maintaining store cleanliness, stocking merchandise, and completing assigned tasks while adhering to company policies and procedures. The STA contributes to a positive work environment and supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager in achieving performance goals.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store's retail goals by ensuring all tasks are executed as planned and product is available for purchase.
  • Meet compliance and execution goals related to task dashboard and ensure timely completion of operational processes, including shipment and replenishment processes, merchandise sets, and inventory counts.
  • Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment that supports teammates, peers, and guests.
  • Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education, to enable continuous professional development and drive sales performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty's policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Adhere to Ulta Beauty's dress code.
  • Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, and physical inventory procedures using Ulta Beauty's technology and best practices.
  • Drive operational excellence by keeping assigned work area replenished, signed, and faced, and ensuring testers are available.
  • Maintain outstanding store standards and overall cleanliness including sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and break area.
  • Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
  • Execute other operational tasks as directed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma is preferred.
  • 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
  • Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to problem solve.
