About the position

The Seasonal Task Associate (STA) at Ulta Beauty plays a crucial role in ensuring operational excellence to support sales and enhance the customer experience. This position focuses on maintaining store cleanliness, stocking merchandise, and executing various operational tasks while embodying the company's mission and values. The STA works closely with the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager to meet performance metrics and compliance standards, contributing to a positive environment for both guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tasks are executed as planned to meet or exceed retail goals.
• Complete operational processes including shipment and replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Support an inclusive environment for teammates and guests.
• Participate in ongoing training for professional development and sales performance.
• Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty's policies and procedures.
• Complete merchandise resets, planograms, and marketing displays using company technology.
• Maintain store cleanliness and standards in all areas including sales floor, restrooms, and break areas.
• Follow loss prevention best practices and provide exceptional guest service.
• Execute other operational tasks as directed.

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Proficient with basic technology, including Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
