Our Distribution Centers are crucial for getting new products to our TJ Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Sierra, Winners, Homesense, and TK Maxx stores. We handle a significant amount of inventory at all times of the day, which requires teamwork, learning, and growth together. As a Seasonal Temporary General Warehouse Associate, you will be part of a close-knit team that values diversity and collaboration. This position is a 90-day role with no guarantee of permanent placement, offering various shifts to accommodate different schedules. The pay for this position is competitive, starting at $21.00 per hour, with additional pay based on production levels and shift differentials. You will work in a clean and climate-controlled workspace, with opportunities for career advancement and promotion. We prioritize health and safety, ensuring that our associates feel secure and valued in their roles. Your responsibilities will include counting, selecting, and sorting objects such as totes, boxes, and merchandise. You will match receipts against purchase orders, ticket merchandise, pack or unpack items, and seal boxes for shipping. The role requires manual material handling of objects weighing up to 10 lbs. constantly, up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 60 lbs. occasionally. Responsibilities
- Count, select and sort objects such as totes, boxes, merchandise, or other items as assigned.
- Match receipts against purchase orders.
- Ticket merchandise or other items with gum labels, ticketing gun, or pin tickets.
- Pack or unpack merchandise.
- Seal boxes for shipping when packing is completed.
- Manual material handling of objects such as totes, boxes, garments or other items up to 10 lbs. constantly, up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling merchandise.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
