About the position
As a Seasonal to Part-Time Pop-up Market Sales Associate & Production Assistant for Ease Essentials Co., a luxury candle company, you will be responsible for leading sales at various pop-up markets while assisting with candle production. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, effective communication, and teamwork to achieve sales targets and ensure smooth market operations. You will engage with the local community, share product information, and maintain an organized market area, contributing to the overall success of the company.
Responsibilities
- Setting up and organizing the booth and display
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service by offering product information and demonstrating candle aromas
- Process customer transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Maintain a clean and organized market area
- Ensure products are properly displayed
- Monitor inventory levels
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
- Assist in candle production tasks at the Chatsworth, CA location
- Lead sales at various farmers market locations across Los Angeles.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Sales experience preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 38 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to commute to production workplace and markets.
