About the position

OnTrac is seeking a Seasonal Operations Assistant to support the Operations Managers with administrative duties and customer service. This role involves interacting with drivers and customers to resolve package discrepancies, ensuring timely deliveries, and performing accurate data entry into the OnTrac system. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Operations Managers with administrative duties and customer service support.
  • Interact with drivers and customers to resolve package discrepancies.
  • Ensure on-time delivery by tracking package deliveries and processing problem packages.
  • Perform accurate data entry into the OnTrac system and verify deliveries.
  • Communicate with customers regarding their package status when needed.
  • Research, analyze, and report on daily compliances to management and prepare business reports as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One year of related industry experience and/or training in transportation and delivery or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask, self-manage, and work efficiently in stressful situations.
