About The Position
The Zoo is recruiting for multiple Full-time and Part-Time Temporary Positions to work until December. Seasonal positions are assigned to the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources - NC Zoo in Asheboro - Randolph County. Position will work flexible schedules and hours based on business needs. The Zoo Transportation Branch provides transportation services to visitors, employees, and for special event functions. Transportation services include an intra-park transportation system and a parking lot shuttle service as well as specialty events and off-site transportation services for Society and/or Zoo events. Equipment includes specialty vehicles with trailing cars, and handicapped equipped buses and trams. The Transport Branch is required to provide timely, safe, efficient and effective transportation to the Zoo's 900,000+ guests per year as well as to guests invited to special events and/or affairs at the Zoo.
