About the position

The SEC Reporting Analyst (CPA) at Corelleaf Design Studio is responsible for providing financial services related to the preparation and filing of SEC 10-Q and 10-K reports. This role involves analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and improving financial reporting processes. The analyst will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver accurate financial insights and support regulatory initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide value-added financial services related to SEC 10-Q and 10-K preparation and filing.
• Review and interpret the impact of financial reporting proposals from governing bodies.
• Prepare analytical studies on historical, forecast, and pro-forma financial data.
• Develop comprehensive financial data reports for internal and external customers.
• Identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities in financial reporting.
• Compile, organize, and format data for internal and external reporting.
• Research reporting issues and provide recommendations for new reporting requirements.
• Support regulatory initiatives by gathering data and preparing regulatory schedules.
• Demonstrate technical knowledge in financial processes and procedures.
• Document work fully and accurately to ensure quality.
• Identify, analyze, and improve existing processes for efficiency.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or related discipline required.
• Finance or Accounting Designation Required (CFA, CPA, etc.).
• 4 years or more experience in finance, accounting, regulatory, or a related field.
• Knowledge of PC applications is preferred.
• Experience in regulatory finance and understanding of financial statements.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior SEC Reporting experience.
• Experience at a Big 4 or major public accounting firm.
