About the position

The Secondary Marketing Operations Specialist is responsible for managing daily collateral, reporting, margining, balance sheet reconciliations, and trade management within the Secondary Marketing infrastructure. This role requires collaboration with various levels of bank management and involves tracking internal and external KPIs/KRIs as set by the business. The specialist will play a key role in aligning pricing, trading, and hedging considerations with the bank's policies and procedures, while also handling ad hoc reporting requests and establishing financial metrics to track performance.

Responsibilities

  • Daily margining, collateral management, and position reconciliations.
  • Work closely with traders and risk managers to centralize pricing, trading, and hedging assumptions.
  • Communicate and align investor reporting and fulfillment requirements as directed by the Secondary Marketing Manager and/or Traders.
  • Handle ad hoc reporting requests within the Secondary Marketing channel.
  • Collaborate with 2nd LOD partners for communication needs, reporting, and strategy metrics.
  • Establish and track financial metrics within the LOB, communicating with key partners in the Bank.
  • Review collateral performance for sales and purchases of residential mortgage loans.
  • Provide backup support for team members and create procedures for various job functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • 5-10 years of experience in residential mortgage origination, servicing, operations, and underwriting, including capital markets experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of capital markets, secondary marketing, and product guidelines.
  • Experience with investor delivery and fulfillment processes.
  • Familiarity with transaction management in secondary marketing.

  • Competitive salary range of $78,970.00 - $126,140.00 annually based on skills and experience.
