About the position

The Business Analyst will support cyber analysis and development capabilities for the Navy and DoD, focusing on Cyber Situational Awareness, Command and Control, and Mission Assurance. The role involves requirement analysis, algorithm evaluation, and participation in agile ceremonies as a Scrum Master, ensuring effective communication between stakeholders and the development team.

Responsibilities

• Perform and attend scrum ceremonies including work item refinement, stand-up, sprint planning, and PI planning.
• Lead requirement analysis and algorithm evaluation for the program.
• Acquire domain knowledge about the program and legacy systems to ensure consistency in implementation strategies.
• Facilitate conversations with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify business needs and requirements.
• Create user stories and wireframes to illustrate functionality and maintain communication with the Product Owner (PO).
• Ensure acceptance criteria are met and backlog priorities align with the product roadmap.
• Coordinate with developers on necessary enablers for user stories during refinement sessions.
• Collaborate with the PO and Tester to ensure products meet defined business rules.

Requirements

• Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
• Bachelor's Degree
• 4+ years of Business Analyst experience
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Strong understanding of DevOps and software/application development processes
• Experience with backlog refinements, Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
