About the position

The Secret Cleared Front End Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining web applications and user interfaces, primarily utilizing AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test new features and functionalities that meet user needs and business requirements. The developer will work closely with product owners and stakeholders to gather insights and understand the requirements thoroughly, ensuring that the final product aligns with user expectations. In addition to development tasks, the Front End Developer will be expected to create clean, efficient, and maintainable code by adhering to best practices and design patterns. Performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications are critical, and the developer will troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise to maintain high standards. Staying current with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development is essential, as is participation in daily stand-up meetings via video teleconferencing (VTC). This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in front-end development who is eager to contribute to a dynamic team and work on innovative projects. Responsibilities

• Build and maintain web applications and user interfaces using AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test new features and functionality.
• Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to gather and better understand requirements and user needs.
• Create clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices and design patterns.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development.
• Attend and participate in daily stand-up meetings via VTC.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in front-end development.
• Bachelor of Science in a relevant Engineering or Computer major.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, Angular, Vue, or React; Angular is used heavily at present.
• Experience with HTML and CSS, including CSS frameworks such as Material Design, Bootstrap, or Foundation.
• Experienced in UI development, data analysis and visualization, and software design.
• Familiarity/light experience using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and three-week sprints.
• Experience developing for the Cloud (AWS, Azure) and closed environments.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices and design patterns.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
