About the position
The Infrastructure Automation Engineer will support the implementation of provisioning automation for hosted cloud and Windows infrastructure. This role involves maintaining IaaS and PaaS infrastructure uptime across cloud environments, troubleshooting issues, and planning for future capacity needs. The position requires a Secret clearance and is based onsite in Hampton, VA for a duration of 7 months.
Responsibilities
- Implement provisioning automation using tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Maintain IaaS and PaaS infrastructure uptime across cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues as they arise.
- Plan for future capacity needs in cloud environments.
- Provide on-call support as part of a rotating schedule.
Requirements
- Active DoD Secret or higher clearance.
- Ability to work onsite in Hampton, VA.
- Experience with the design and implementation of infrastructure provisioning automation using IaC, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation.
- Ability to support Windows cloud and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Experience implementing STIGs.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Kubernetes.
