About the position

The Secret Endpoint Security Engineer will be responsible for supporting the company's Endpoint Security Services (ESS) in a hybrid work environment based in Alexandria, VA. This role involves maintaining the health of various systems, monitoring for intrusions and failures, and ensuring the overall security of the environment using Trellix (formerly McAfee) technologies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor the overall health of the endpoint security environment.
• Utilize Trellix Suite for security management and monitoring.
• Respond to and manage security incidents and intrusions.
• Perform installation and removal of Windows operating systems on servers.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must possess a Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of professional experience, or additional related experience in lieu of a degree.
• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) and CSSP-Infrastructure certification required.
• Experience managing Windows 2016 servers or higher.
• Experience with Trellix Suite (formerly McAfee) for endpoint security management.

Nice-to-haves
