About the position

As a Secret Project Manager at Insight Global, you will leverage your extensive experience in program and project management while applying agile principles to drive project success. Your primary responsibility will be to develop essential program management artifacts, including project charters, program/project plans, risk management plans, communication plans, business case analyses, and concepts of operations. You will maintain responsibility for establishing and upholding standards for these work products, ensuring that they meet the necessary quality and compliance requirements. In this role, you will lead and facilitate client meetings and exercises, such as requirement gathering and prioritization sessions, to ensure that project objectives align with client expectations. You will manage client delivery expectations by providing situational awareness, bi-directional status updates, feedback, and project updates to both the customer and the project teams. Identifying high-value needs and developing resource plans to implement effective solutions will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will assist in managing the required efforts and resources for successful project implementation and completion, utilizing Microsoft and Atlassian solutions (including Teams, SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence) to effectively manage projects. Additionally, you will support the development of briefings, agendas, and other documentation, including training materials, as directed. Establishing and monitoring schedules, identifying resource needs, and assigning individual responsibilities will be crucial to your role. You will also be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and tracking risks, communicating statuses, and escalating concerns when necessary. Coordinating cross-team dependencies and fostering collaboration will be essential to ensure project success. Responsibilities

  • Develop program management artifacts as needed (project charters, program/project plans, risk management plans, communication plans, business case analysis, and concept of operations).
  • Maintain responsibility and establish/maintain standards for these work products.
  • Lead and facilitate client meetings and exercises (requirement gathering, prioritization sessions, etc.).

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Minimum of 10 years federal Project/Program Management experience (directly related postgraduate study may be substituted for experience at the rate of three credit hours for three months of experience up to 36 credit hours)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field from an accredited college or university and/or equivalent experience
  • Security+ certification
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Government financial systems experience
  • Agile process experience
  • Jira process experience
  • Working knowledge of the BES Atlassian Tool Suite
