About the position

The Secret Technical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful completion of engineering projects while adhering to budgetary and scheduling guidelines. This role involves establishing project requirements, guiding technical direction, and executing DevSecOps practices to enhance system delivery. The manager will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with the overall project vision and roadmap, while also troubleshooting technical issues and identifying risks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure successful project completion within budget and schedule.
• Establish project requirements and provide technical direction to engineering teams.
• Execute DevSecOps practices to automate and improve system delivery.
• Make architecture and design decisions in collaboration with the Chief Architect.
• Guide team members in troubleshooting technical issues and analyzing operations for risks and redundancies.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical blockers to maintain project progress.
• Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive decisions and meet requirements.

Requirements

• Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's degree with 12-15 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 10-13 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to earn IAT Level II (or higher) certification such as Security+.
• Expertise in managing a team of engineers, including mentoring and fostering communication.
• Advanced technical knowledge in principles, theories, and concepts.
• Experience designing, deploying, and operating solutions on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with software-defined networking solutions.
• Experience with virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environments and management software.
• Familiarity with the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence.
