About the position
The Secret Traveling Program Manager will oversee the installation and lifecycle maintenance of an IP Based Paging System for a large government client in Washington, DC. This role involves acting as a liaison between the US Government, Prime contractors, and suppliers, ensuring effective communication and project management throughout the system's lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all logistics related to site preparation for hardware replacement at each office
- Responsible for reporting on all project financials and managing scheduling between Prime, US Government, and vendors/suppliers
- Oversee IP Based Paging System Installation, ensuring compliance with Scope of Work specifications
- Manage comprehensive maintenance and repair services for agencies nationwide, including scheduling maintenance visits and monitoring trouble reporting
- Escort technicians/engineers into US Government buildings for installation and maintenance
- Maintain a working schedule of new installations and maintenance for each US Government site
- Document and catalog hardware and components installed at each site, including software releases
- Report time and activities related to the project to Prime for proper reporting to the US Government.
Requirements
- Secret security clearance
- Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time
- Knowledge of IP Based Paging Systems
- Strong written, oral, and presentation skills
- Experience reporting on project financials and managing scheduling
- Experience overseeing large-scale projects, preferably related to installation and maintenance
- Strong documentation skills
