Effective communication is key, as the Department Secretary will be responsible for collating and delivering communications to stakeholders while adhering to all Rio Tinto standards, policies, and procedures. The role also requires planning, managing, and delivering work to a high standard, often with some leader guidance and support. Specific responsibilities include managing diaries, workflow approvals, travel arrangements, raising purchase orders, credit card reconciliations, and coordinating team functions, meetings, events, and workshops.
