The Secretary/Receptionist/Administrative Assistant role at a construction company involves providing essential administrative and office support to the office manager. Responsibilities

  • Field telephone calls and route them appropriately.
  • Greet and direct visitors to the office.
  • Perform word processing, filing, and faxing tasks.
  • Open and route incoming mail and distribute correspondence.
  • Draft basic correspondence and enter data as needed.
  • Create and mail form letters and copy materials as requested.
  • Establish and maintain files, records, and documents.
  • Enter approved invoices and credit memos in QuickBooks.
  • Process change orders as needed.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office.
  • 1 year of experience with QuickBooks.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • General office skills and internet research abilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.
