The Secretary/Receptionist position is a vital role within a small office environment, requiring a dedicated and reliable individual who can manage a variety of tasks. The role involves answering phones, booking appointments, and performing data entry, while also providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities

  • Answering phones and booking appointments, organizing routes effectively.
  • Performing data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Utilizing QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks and record keeping.
  • Handling correspondence and preparing documents for internal and external communication.
  • Assisting with clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
  • Managing incoming calls and emails with professionalism and courtesy.

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Practical knowledge of computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills and a cheerful customer service attitude.
  • Ability to problem solve and multitask effectively.
  • Must have a reliable method of transportation to work.

Nice-to-haves

  • Work experience as a Receptionist, Inside Sales, or in a Call Center (not required but helpful).
  • Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus.
