About The Position

Requirements

• Experience in a healthcare setting
• Familiarity with EPIC software
• Ability to perform basic medical tasks such as obtaining vital signs and EKGs
• Strong communication skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs

Nice To Haves

• Certification in patient care or medical assisting
• Experience with patient transportation
• Knowledge of infection control practices

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and call bells
• Manage visitor intercom
• Conduct supply inventory and ordering
• Restock supplies as needed
• Procure necessary supplies
• Prepare and maintain patient charts
• Track patient flow in and out of the unit
• File documents as needed
• Utilize EPIC software as directed by the RN
• Perform EKGs and obtain vital signs
• Conduct glaucoma testing and assist with meals
• Provide transportation for patients
• Disinfect equipment and perform ADLs such as skin care, bathing, oral hygiene, and mobility assistance
