Through a wide range of marketing and communications services to external audiences and coordination with internal teams, you will position EY as an insightful leader in the sector. Your target audience will include current and future clients, our current and future employees, alumni, regulators, the media, and the communities within which we operate. In this role, you will inform and implement the power and utility sector's marketing strategy and initiatives for their respective practices. You will oversee the successful implementation and quality of the sector's go-to-market marketing initiatives. You will be expected to contribute to the development of the sector's marketing strategy and be responsible for executing marketing campaigns as well as tracking the ROI of the marketing initiatives. Your responsibilities will include thought leadership, events, marketing automation, newsletters, paid media, social media, and more as it relates to the sector's marketing campaigns. You will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal project stakeholders, manage project stakeholders' expectations, and build trust with external stakeholders from events, media agencies, and more. You will be adept at creating strategic, targeted, and impactful go-to-market initiatives, possessing relevant market insight respective to your function and a comfort level working across service lines, industries, function areas, and client groups. A strong understanding of factors affecting the sector, our firm, the practice, and our markets is essential. You will also coordinate the creation of area marketing collateral and brochures to ensure they are appropriately leveraged and delivered.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of the sector's marketing strategy.
  • Execute marketing campaigns and track the ROI of marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee thought leadership, events, marketing automation, newsletters, paid media, and social media as it relates to the sector's marketing campaigns.

Requirements

  • Seven-plus years of experience in marketing or communications.
  • Bachelor's degree with a marketing or communications major or equivalent experience; MBA is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations.
  • Ability to articulate complex subject matter in a straightforward manner for broad audiences.
  • Possess poise and confidence to interact with all levels of leadership.
  • Ability to oversee significant portions of major or highly complex projects.

  • Ability to team and collaborate with practice, industry, and other firm leaders to develop market-facing initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently on marketing initiatives.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills including the development of others.
