About the position

The Data Security, Cloud Technologies Engineer position focuses on enhancing the utilization of SecuPi within the organization. The role involves leading a team to analyze current usage, implement improvements, and facilitate knowledge transfer with the InfoSec team. The Sr. Engineer will be hands-on with technology and responsible for designing and implementing data protection solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of data protection solutions using SecuPi encryption
• Collaborate with stakeholders (Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Infrastructure) to understand their data protection requirements and develop a SecuPi rollout strategy
• Recognize and accommodate business and technology drivers and implementation plans
• Take into account risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and incorporate into solutions to ensure compliance with data protection regulations
• Define and negotiate implementation solution options while considering risks, costs, impacts, and business objectives
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of data protection solutions
• Enable existing client team to take ownership over time

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in data protection and cybersecurity, with a focus on SecuPi technology
• Strong technical skills in data protection tools and technologies
• Experience working with clients to understand their data protection requirements and develop solutions
• Experience with implementing data encryption, access controls, and threat detection technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of data protection laws and regulations

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Financial Services industry
• Relevant certifications in data protection and cybersecurity are a plus
