As a member of the Securities Operations Team, the Senior Analyst will perform all functions related to making securities eligible, closing issuances, and other tasks related to eligibility. Securities Operations is the entry point for depository and book-entry transfer services at The Depository Trust Company (DTC). An eligible security is one that is freely tradable, qualified to be held at DTC, and serviced through DTC's electronic book-entry system. In addition, the Securities Operations Senior Analyst will also pay high attention to detail in the approach to all procedures. The impact you will have in this role includes completing operational processes by following documented procedures and job aides, making suggestions on improving processes and efficiencies, processing specialized workflows, resolving exceptions, and assisting with complex inquiries. You will manage your workload to ensure results are met in line with procedures, metrics, and benchmarks while maintaining a steadfast focus on client service, including responding to inquiries timely and accurately, and resolving issues promptly. Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external partners to facilitate issue resolution, operational improvements, and risk reduction is also a key aspect of this role. Additionally, you will facilitate training sessions for junior team members as directed by management and build knowledge of department controls.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.
