About the position

Fisher Investments is seeking finance and research-oriented professionals to join its Securities Research Group as Securities Analysts. This role supports the portfolio management team, which manages over $250 billion in assets under management (AUM) and serves high-net-worth private clients and prestigious institutions. Analysts will guide portfolio outperformance through impactful coverage of stock holdings and industry research, developing expertise in their assigned sectors while collaborating with motivated peers in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the investment philosophy, process, portfolio themes, and rationales.
• Build expertise on an assigned sector to understand how market events impact forward relative returns.
• Provide the Investment Policy Committee (IPC) with regular and ad hoc performance analysis and commentary.
• Proactively identify industries and stocks likely to outperform selected benchmarks.
• Participate in Investment Roundtables, Fisher Client Forums, and client/prospect meetings, providing critical commentary.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional equity research experience.
• Experience working in a buy and/or sell-side firm conducting qualitative equity research.
• Ability to communicate with multiple audiences, including executive-level stakeholders.
• Experience writing equity research reports utilizing data and qualitative findings.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg, Factset, Excel, or similar tools.
