About the position

Fisher Investments is seeking finance and research-oriented professionals to join their Securities Research Group as Securities Analysts. This role involves guiding portfolio outperformance through comprehensive coverage of stock holdings and industry research, supporting the portfolio management team that oversees over $250 billion in assets under management. Analysts will develop expertise in specific sectors, deliver timely research, and create impactful portfolio recommendations while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive knowledge of investment philosophy, process, portfolio themes, and rationales.
• Build expertise on an assigned sector to understand market impacts on forward relative returns.
• Provide the Investment Policy Committee (IPC) with regular and ad hoc performance analysis and commentary.
• Identify industries and stocks likely to outperform selected benchmarks.
• Participate in Investment Roundtables, Fisher Client Forums, and client/prospect meetings, providing critical commentary.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional equity research experience.
• Experience working in a buy and/or sell-side firm conducting qualitative equity research.
• Experience communicating with multiple audiences, including executive-level stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate in a relevant, concise, and efficient manner to positively impact portfolios.
• Intellectual flexibility and drive to learn and test new ways of thinking and communicating.
• Experience writing equity research reports utilizing data and qualitative findings.
• Experience working with Bloomberg, Factset, Excel, or similar tools.
