About the position

Fisher Investments is seeking finance and research-oriented professionals to join its Securities Research Group as Securities Analysts. This role involves guiding portfolio outperformance through comprehensive coverage of stock holdings and industry research, supporting the portfolio management team that oversees over $250 billion in assets under management. Analysts will develop expertise in specific sectors, deliver timely research, and provide impactful portfolio recommendations to the Investment Policy Committee (IPC).

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive knowledge of investment philosophy, process, portfolio themes, and rationales.
• Build expertise on an assigned sector to understand market events and their impact on forward relative returns.
• Provide the IPC with regular and ad hoc performance analysis and commentary.
• Identify industries and stocks likely to outperform selected benchmarks.
• Participate in Investment Roundtables, Fisher Client Forums, and client/prospect meetings, providing critical commentary.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional equity research experience.
• Experience working in a buy and/or sell-side firm conducting qualitative equity research.
• Ability to communicate with multiple audiences, including executive-level stakeholders.
• Experience writing equity research reports utilizing data and qualitative findings.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg, Factset, Excel, or similar tools.
