Responsibilities

  • Professionally represent the company in promoting and selling Electronic Fire Service offerings.
  • Manage the entire sales process from uncovering opportunities to closing sales.
  • Work collaboratively with sales, technical, design engineering, and management teams to meet customer needs.
  • Assume Account Representative responsibilities, coordinating services to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities using effective sales techniques.
  • Determine customer needs and develop a tailored sales strategy.
  • Conduct building surveys to support the development of estimates.
  • Maintain an active proposal backlog to achieve sales objectives.
  • Prepare financial justifications and proposals, and make presentations to customers.
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues related to delivery, billing, and financing.
  • Maintain established accounts through regular contact and pursue additional sales opportunities.
  • Perform market investigations to develop new applications and provide sales forecasting.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales-related activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of successful sales experience.
  • Highly self-motivated and driven to succeed.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to persuade and close sales effectively.
  • Ability to obtain necessary licenses as required by codes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Engineering preferred.
  • Experience working with electrical contractors.
  • Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and job costing systems, including Microsoft and Oracle programs.
